Dana Fonteneau draws on her diverse background in music, business, and psychology to help her clients attain greater personal and professional achievement. She is part peak performance coach, management consultant and therapist. Her global practice is centered in leadership where she works with purpose- driven executives, world class performers, educators and change makers to create sustainable and profitable impact.
Her human centered work is conducted one-on-one and within organizations and institutions.Some of these clients have included leaders and employees at Red Oak Realty, MKI Artists, Colbert Artists, Apple and Genentech, Silicon Valley startups, and other established companies. Her targeted work has enabled clients to negotiate six-figure consulting contracts with Silicon Valley, succeed at interviews with Fortune 500 companies, address change management while handling mergers and acquisitions as well as and significantly increase profit, and fundraising results.
As the founder and creator of The WholeHearted Musician™️, Dana has appeared as a guest speaker at nearly every major music school in the United States including the Juilliard School, Manhattan School of Music, University of Michigan, Rice University, Peabody Institute at John Hopkins University, University of Texas at Austin, and the San Francisco Conservatory. Dana has also consulted for and facilitated faculty and staff retreats for the CU Boulder College of Music and aided the Shenandoah Conservatory launch their “Being Well Together” school wide wellness program.She has presented and served as a career advisor at the Chamber Music America National Conference, Association for Performing Arts Professionals, Yellow Barn Chamber Music Festival and the United States Marine Band.

Dana is a conservatory trained musician who has performed as a soloist, chamber musician, and as a orchestral player around the world. She holds degrees in cello performance and chamber music from the San Francisco Conservatory. Additionally, she holds a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, is a Master Demartini Method and Demartini Values Facilitator, and a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC49425) in the States of California and Connecticut. Her continuing executive education in neuroscience applied for business and design thinking and innovation is from Wharton Business School and Harvard Business School.
